Day 1: Arrival in Trivandrum
On arrival at the Trivandrum Airport, our representative will greet and escort you on a drive to Kovalam (16 km). On arrival at the beach resort, enjoy a traditional welcome at the lobby and check in. The day is free for you to relax and enjoy amidst the recreational facilities available at the resort or go out for beach walks and swimming in the Arabian Sea. Return to the beach resort for dinner and overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 2: Kovalam
In the morning, indulge in an authentic Kerala breakfast. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at leisure activities such as ayurveda massages, yoga lessons, and beach and water activities offered at the resort. Overnight stay at the resort in Kovalam.

Day 3: Kovalam
After breakfast at the resort, go on a full day excursion to Kanyakumari (Cape Comorin) and Viziniam. Return to the resort for overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 4: Kovalam - Kumarakom
Travel to Kumarakom in the morning, after breakfast at the hotel. On arrival in the small town located on the Vembanad Lake and enriched by pristine beaches and gorgeous backwaters, check in at the hotel and relax. Later in the day, go for boat rides and houseboat cruises on the lakes and canals of Kumarakom or relish the scenery from the comforts of your room or the spa at the resort. Excursions to the nearby bird sanctuary can also be arranged. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 5: Kumarakom
After breakfast at the hotel, the day is free for you to enjoy it with leisure activities such as lingering along the Venbanad Lake beach, indulging in boat cruises on the venue for the annual snake boat race, and try a hand at the many water and beach activities in Kumarakom, Kerala.

Day 6: Kumarakom - Periyar
Leave for Periyar after breakfast at the hotel. En route, enjoy the scenic countryside - misty hills covered in spice plantations, waterfalls and green meadows. Trek through the earmarked trails or enjoy picnics at the spectacular waterfalls. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax on your overnight stay in Periyar.

Day 7: Periyar
After breakfast at the hotel, you can explore Periyar National Park on a nature-walk. However, a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake is considered to be the best way to explore the flora and fauna of Periyar, hidden within its depths. For instance, you can catch the quirky habits of elephants as they descend on the Periyar Lake for a ritualistic bath. For bird lovers, there are the woodland birds, darters and coromants to keep them company. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Periyar.

Day 8: Periyar - Kottayam - Alapuzzha
Transfer to Kottayam in the morning to board a private houseboat. The houseboat takes you through the famed canals and lakes that constitute the backwaters of Alapuzzha (Alleppey), Kerala. Enjoy the laidback atmosphere as you drift down the waterways. Relish the scenic beauty - coconut groves, rice patties, and small coastal villages. On arrival in Alapuzzha, disembark from the boat and check in at the resort for dinner and overnight stay in Alapuzzha.

Day 9: Alleppey - Cochin
Travel to Cochin, after breakfast at the resort. On arrival in Cochin, check in at the hotel and relax for the day. Enjoy the various hotel facilities and treat yourself to an assortment of Kerala recipes for dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 10: Cochin
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day city sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit Fort Cochin, St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Bolghatty Palace, oldest Synagogue, Jew Town, Buildings from the Dutch, Portuguese and English era, Chinese fishing nets, Kochi Harbor, the splendid beaches of Vypeen islands. Return to the hotel for an evening reserved for Kathakali performance. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 11: Departure from Cochin
