Day 1 (Tuesday): Arrival in Delhi
Our representative will greet and escort you to the hotel on arrival at the Delhi International Airport. After a traditional Indian welcome at the reception, check in, refresh, have lunch and proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi that includes visits to Lotus Temple, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Connaught, Humayun's Tomb, Red Fort, and Qutub Minar. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 (Wednesday): Delhi
Arrive on your own at the Delhi Cantonment station in the afternoon to board one the finest luxury train in the world and travel the Maharaja style to the country of salt and sand. The rich decor and plush interiors house two royal restaurants, salons, and spa. Dinner and overnight journey to Jaipur aboard the luxury train.

Day 3 (Thursday): Jaipur
Arrive in Jaipur in the morning and breakfast aboard the luxury train. Disembark to a traditional Rajasthani welcome and immediately proceed for lunch at the Rambagh Palace with the members of the royal family. In the afternoon, go on a guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur that includes visits to Amber Fort, City Palace and Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, and Birla Temple. Return to the station to board the Palace on Wheels for dinner and overnight journey to Jaisalmer.

Day 4 (Friday): Jaisalmer
Arrive in Jaisalmer in the morning and breakfast aboard the luxury train. Disembark from the Palace on wheels and proceed for a sightseeing tour of the desert citadel that includes visits to Jaisalmer Fort, and camel safaris to Sam sand dunes. Return to the station to board the Palace on Wheels for dinner and overnight journey to Jodhpur.

Day 5 (Saturday): Jodhpur
Arrive in Jodhpur in the morning and breakfast aboard the luxury train. Disembark from the Palace on Wheels and proceed for a sightseeing tour of the city that includes the visits to Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana, Daulat Khana, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhavan Palace, and cenotaphs. Return to the station to board the Palace on Wheels for dinner and overnight journey to Sawai Madhopur.

Day 6 (Sunday): Sawai Madhopur - Chittaurgarh
Arrive in Sawai Madhopur and breakfast aboard the luxury train. Disembark and proceed for a jungle jeep or elephant safari to Ranthambore National Park (12 km from Sawai Madhopur). Enjoy a half day of game-viewing, bird watching, and treks to the Ranthambore Fort. Return to the Palace on Wheels for lunch and onward journey to Chittaurgarh. On arrival, disembark and proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of the majestic Chittaurgarh Fort. Return to the Palace on Wheels for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 (Monday): Udaipur
After breakfast aboard the luxury train parked in Chittaurgarh, alight and board the luxury coach to Udaipur. On arrival in the city of lakes and palaces, visit the Lake Palace, City Palace, Lake Pichola and Jagdish Temple and go on a sunset boat cruise. Return to the Palace on Wheels parked at Chittaurgarh for dinner and overnight journey to Bharatpur.

Day 8 (Tuesday): Bharatpur - Agra
Arrive in the Bharatpur in the morning and breakfast aboard the luxury train. Disembark from the Palace on Wheels and proceed for a tour of the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Return to the Palace on Wheels for lunch and onward journey to Fatehpur Sikri, the ruined fort city established by Akbar, the mighty Mughal Emperor. Later, on arrival in Agra, visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and tomb of Akbar at Sikandra. Return to the Palace on Wheels for dinner and overnight journey back to Delhi Cantonment.

Day 9 (Wednesday): Delhi
Arrive in Delhi in the morning and breakfast aboard the Palace on Wheels. Later, proceed to the airport to board the flight back home or to your onward destination, or linger on in the historic city of Delhi.
