Offbeat Rajasthan Tour Itinerary

Day 2 (Saturday): Delhi - Mandawa
After breakfast, drive to Mandawa. It was once the rest house for Maharajas who hunted in the nearby jungles. Today it is known as the town of open-air galleries for its frescoed mansions. On arrival in Mandawa, check in at the Mandawa Castle turned heritage hotel and immediately proceed for a sightseeing tour that includes visits to the frescoed havelis (mansions), and fort. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mandawa.

Day 3 (Sunday): Mandawa - Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner in the morning. On arrival in Bikaner, check in at hotel and relax. In the afternoon, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour. Visit 15th century Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, and Camel Breeding Farm. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Bikaner.

Day 4 (Monday): Bikaner - Jaisalmer
In the morning, drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival in the desert citadel, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 5 (Tuesday): Jaisalmer
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour. Visit Jaisalmer Fort, royal cenotaphs, Manak Chowk, Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Gadisar Lake, and camel safaris to Sam sand dunes. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 6 (Wednesday): Jaisalmer - Manvar In the morning, drive to Manvar after breakfast at the hotel. On arrival, check into the Manvar Resort set on the edge of the Thar Desert. The day is free for you to enjoy the colors, traditions, and lifestyle of desert tribes that inhabit the area. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Manvar.

Day 7 (Thursday): Manvar - Nimaj
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Nimaj. On arrival in Nimaj, check in at the hotel and go on a sightseeing tour. Visit Jagram Durg (fort) and Chhatra Sagar. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Nimaj.

Day 8 (Friday): Nimaj - Udaipur
Drive to Udaipur in the morning. En route, visit the white marble Jain temples at Ranakpur. On arrival in the city of lakes and palaces, check in at the hotel and relax on your overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 9 (Saturday): Udaipur - Deogarh
In the morning, proceed for a sightseeing tour of the city that includes visits to the Lake Palace, City Palace, Lake Pichola, Saheliyon ki Bari, and Jagdish Temple. Excursion to Kumbhalgarh Fort is an added attraction. Return to the hotel and drive to the 17th century desert village of Deogarh. Day 10 (Sunday): Deogarh - Pushkar
Drive to Pushkar in the morning. On arrival in the holy city that hosts the annual cattle fair, check in at the tents and proceed for a sightseeing tour of the Lord Brahma Temple and the Pushkar Lake. Return to the tents for an overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 11 (Monday): Pushkar
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the entire day at the Pushkar Fair - world's largest cattle fair. Return to the tents for an overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 12 (Tuesday): Pushkar
After breakfast at the hotel, spend another day at the Pushkar Fair and return to the tents for an overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 13 (Wednesday): Pushkar - Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, check in at the hotel and relax. Go shopping at the ancient markets and get a taste of the spicy street food in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 14 (Thursday): Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, go on a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Amber Fort, City Palace and Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple, Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 15 (Friday): Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Agra. En route, enjoy a walk through the stunning ruins of Fatehpur Sikri, a city built by the legendary Mughal emperor Akbar. On arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal till the sunset. In the evening, go out and enjoy shopping in the old markets of Agra. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Agra.

Day 16 (Saturday): Agra - Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour. Visit Agra Fort, and its many palaces, mansions, and museums, Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, and Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra. Drive back to Delhi in the afternoon. On arrival, transfer to the airport for a flight back home or to your onward destination.
