Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive at the airport in Delhi. Our associate will escort you to the hotel. Check in upon arrival and relax for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi - Mandawa
After breakfast, drive to Mandawa. En route, have lunch at Bagar where you will visit Piramal Haveli, a starter to frescoed mansions in Mandawa. On arrival in Mandawa, check in at the Mandawa Castle turned heritage hotel and immediately proceed for a sightseeing tour that includes visits to the frescoed havelis (mansions), and fort. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mandawa.
Day 3: Mandawa - Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner in the morning. On arrival in Bikaner, check in at hotel and relax. In the afternoon, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour. Visit 15th century Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, Camel Breeding Farm, Bandeshwar Jain temples and rat-worshipping Deshnoke Temple. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Bikaner.
Day 4: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaisalmer via Keechan (a small village that is famous for its migratory bird population). On arrival in Jaisalmer, check in at the hotel and relax. Go on an evening camel safari to the nearby Sam sand dunes. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 5: Jaisalmer
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour. Visit Jaisalmer Fort, Sonar Fort, Manak Chowk, Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake. Also, go on a camel ride to the sand dune of Khuri. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 6: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jodhpur via Osiyan (a small oasis festooned with Hindu and Jain temples). On arrival in Jodhpur, check in at the hotel and proceed for a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Take an evening walk to the local markets and enjoy its festive spirit. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 7: Jodhpur - Udaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Udaipur and check in at the hotel. En route, take a tour of the 15th century white marble Jain temples at Ranakpur. In the evening, go on an evening sunset cruise on Lake Pichola. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 8: Udaipur
In the morning, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Lake Palace, City Palace, Lake Pichola, Saheliyon ki Bari, and Jagdish Temple. Enjoy shopping at the local markets in the evening. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 9: Udaipur - Pushkar
Drive to Pushkar in the morning. On arrival in the holy city, check in at the camp and proceed for a tour of the many temples that have made Pushkar one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in India. Visit Lord Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake in particular. Return to the camp for overnight stay in Pushkar.
Day 10: Pushkar - Ranthambore
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Ranthambore and check in at the jungle lodge. After an afternoon game safari into the national park, take a trip to the Sawai Madhopur. Here you can shop for handicrafts and curios typical to Rajasthan. Return to the lodge for overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 11: Ranthambore - Jaipur
Enjoy another early morning jungle safaris (on jeep/canter/elephants). Return to the resort for breakfast and journey onto Jaipur. On arrival, check into your hotel room. Explore the colorful ancient markets of the city in the evening or enjoy the hotel facilities. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 12: Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, go on a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Amber Fort, City Palace and Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple, Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 13: Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Agra. En route, take a heritage walk through the splendid red sandstone ruins of Fatehpur Sikri. Also, visit the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary for a birding tour on foot or cycle-rickshaw. On arrival, check in at the hotel. After a tour of the Taj Mahal till the sunset, go out and enjoy shopping in the old markets of Agra. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Agra.
Day 14: Agra - Varanasi
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit Agra Fort. If time permits visit Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah and Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra. Later, transfer to the railway station / airport for an overnight journey to Varanasi by an express train or connecting flights (Agra - Delhi - Varanasi).
Day 15: Varanasi
Arrive in Varanasi and transfer to the hotel. Go on a brief excursion to the nearby Buddhist city of Sarnath and attend the evening aarti on the ghats (banks) of Ganga. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 16: Varanasi - Delhi
Go on an early morning boat ride on the Ganges to catch the people bathing and praying to the sun rising in the sky. Return to hotel for breakfast and proceed for a sightseeing tour of the oldest surviving city in the world. Visit the temples dotting the skyline such as Bharat Mata Temple and Benaras Hindu University. Late afternoon, drive back to Delhi and transfer to the domestic / international airport. From here, you can catch a connecting flight back home or to your onward destination.
