Day 1: Arrival in Kolkata

Begin your 21-day Wildlife Odyssey, arranged by A India Tour, from Kolkata. Arrive at the airport in Kolkata. Our representative will accompany you to the hotel and will assist you in checking into your room. The day is free for you to indulge in recreational activities available at the hotel or explore the nearby areas on your own. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Kolkata.

Day 2 - 4: Kaziranga National Park

Day's Highlight: Jungle Safaris
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Guwahati, Assam. On arrival, drive to the wildlife resort at the fabulous Kaziranga National Park for a 2-day stay. After refreshments, go on an afternoon elephant ride to the jungle and spot rhinos, tigers, and elephant herds. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 5: Kaziranga - Kolkata

After breakfast at the jungle resort and an early morning jungle safari, transfer to the airport for a flight back to Kolkata. On arrival, check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Kathmandu

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Kathmandu, Nepal. On arrival, check in at the Dwarika's Hotel and relax. In the evening, you can visit Pashupatinath temple located close to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the many hotel services and facilities such as restaurants, bar, library, and swimming pool. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 7 - 9: Chitwan National Park

Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Chitwan National Park. On arrival, drive to the Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge and check into your room. Enjoy full day game-viewing and birding tours on your elephant / jeep safaris in the Chitwan National Park that conceals tigers, leopards, Rhinoceros, deer, bears, and monkeys in its 976 sq km of area.

Days 10 - 11: Chitwan - Kathmandu

Return to Kathmandu and check into Dwarika's hotel. After refreshing, proceed on a cultural and historical tour of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Enjoy the scenic Himalayas, visit Bhaktapur and Phulchowki. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Delhi

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Delhi. On arrival, check in at the Claridges Hotel and relax. You can spend the day at leisure or go sightseeing in New and Old Delhi. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 13 - 16: Kanha National Park

Days' Highlight: Jeep / Elephant Jungle Safaris
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Nagpur, gateway to the Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve. On arrival, drive to the Tuli Tiger Resort for camping during your 4-day stay. Enjoy 4 days of jeep and elephant back safaris through the grasslands and deciduous forests typical to the region. These full days of game viewing and bird watching that allows you to see first hand such endangered species as tiger, barasingha, chital, muntjac, sambar, wild boar, Asiatic jackal, painted partridge, shaheen falcon, golden oriole etc are supplemented with bonfires and barbeques at the camp. Rest in your private quarters or enjoy the eco-friendly recreational facilities on your overnight stay in Kanha National Park.

Day 17 - 19: Bandhavgarh National Park

Venture on a long scenic drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival in the refreshingly green densely forested tiger territory, check in at the Churhat Kothi for your 2-day stay. Enjoy 4 days of jeep and elephant back safaris through with full days of game viewing and bird watching. Lookout for sambar, muntjac, nilgai, chinkara, chowsingha, wild boar, leopard, hornbills, orioles, parakeets, peacocks, and eagles. Treks to the stunning ruins of Bandhavgarh Fort are also popular with the campers. After a day's excursions, return to the camp for some quiet time in your private quarters, or the library or enjoy the eco-friendly recreational facilities on your overnight stay in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Day 20: Train

Wake up early morning for a final jungle safari to the core of Bandhavgarh National Park. Return to the forest lodge for breakfast. Later in the day, check out and transfer to the railway station at Umaria. Board the train to Delhi for overnight journey.

Day 21: Departure from Delhi

Arrive at the Delhi airport and drive to the Radisson Hotel for breakfast and relaxation. In the evening, transfer to the airport for a flight back home or to your onward destination.
