Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Begin your 17-day Jungle Trail, arranged by A India Tour, from Delhi. Arrive at the international airport in Delhi. Our representative will accompany you to the hotel and will assist you in checking into your room. After breakfast, proceed on a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Lotus Temple, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Connaught Place, Humayun's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Qutub Minar. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.

Days 2 - 6: Kanha National Park

Days' Highlight: Jeep / Elephant Jungle Safaris
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Nagpur, gateway to the Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve. On arrival, drive to the jungle lodge for camping during your 4-day stay. Enjoy 4 days of jeep and elephant back safaris through the grasslands and deciduous forests typical to the region. These full days of game viewing and bird watching that allows you to see first hand such endangered species as tiger, barasingha, chital, muntjac, sambar, wild boar, Asiatic jackal, painted partridge, shaheen falcon, golden oriole etc are supplemented with bonfires and barbeques at the camp. Rest in your private quarters or enjoy the eco-friendly recreational facilities on your overnight stay in Kanha National Park.

Days 7 - 10: Bandhavgarh National Park

Venture on a long scenic drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival in the refreshingly green densely forested tiger territory, check in at the camp for your 4-day stay. Enjoy 4 days of jeep and elephant back safaris through with full days of game viewing and bird watching. Lookout for sambar, muntjac, nilgai, chinkara, chowsingha, wild boar, leopard, hornbills, orioles, parakeets, peacocks, and eagles. Treks to the stunning ruins of Bandhavgarh Fort are also popular with the campers. After a day's excursions, return to the camp for some quiet time in your private quarters, or the library or enjoy the eco-friendly recreational facilities on your overnight stay in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Days 11 - 12: Agra

Days' Highlight: Taj Mahal and Sightseeing in Agra
After an early morning jungle safari, today you board the train for overnight journey to Agra. Arrive the next day in Agra, transfer to the hotel and check into your room. After refreshments and brief relaxation, proceed on a half day sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Akbar's Tomb, and Itimad-ud-Daulah. The evenings are free for shopping and recreational activities. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Agra.

Days 13 - 16: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve


Camp: Nahargarh or Sher Bagh

Transfer to the railway station to board the train to Sawai Madhopur, gateway to Ranthambore National Park. On arrival, drive to the Tiger Reserve and check in at the camp for a 4-day stay in Ranthambore. Besides game-viewing, bird watching, jungle safaris, tiger trails and recreational activities at the camp, you can also trek to the Ranthambore Fort and the many lakes, hills and ancient ruined temples in the region. Ranthambore is ideal spotting ground for leopard, sloth bear, rhesus macaque, common langur, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, jackal, sambar, and mugger crocodiles. After a day's excursions, return to the camp for some quiet time in your private quarters, or the library or enjoy the eco-friendly recreational facilities on your overnight stay in Ranthambore National Park.

Day 17: Delhi

End of the Jungle Trail Tour
Enjoy another round of early morning safari and return to the camp for breakfast. Later in the day drive back to the railway station to board the train to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to the airport for a flight back home or your onward destination.
