Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai
Arrive at the international airport in Mumbai to begin your 10-day Spices and Backwaters Tour with A India Tour holiday packages and itineraries. Our representative will escort you to the hotel. On arrival, check into your room and refresh. The day is free for you to enjoy at leisure. Later in the day, go on a brief excursion to the Elephanta Caves. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Mumbai

Day 2: Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Mumbai. Visit the Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Towers of Silence, Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens, Marine Drive, AND Crawford Market. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 3: Mumbai - Kochi - Periyar
After breakfast at the resort, transfer to the airport for a flight to Kochi. On arrival in the harbor city, have lunch and proceed on a drive to Periyar, Thekkady. On arrival in Periyar, famous for elephants and tigers, check in at the forest lodge and proceed for a boat safari on the Periyar Lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Periyar, Kerala.

Day 4: Periyar - Kumarakom
After breakfast at the lodge, proceed for another boat cruise to the dense forests of Periyar. After game viewing, bird watching, and butterfly spotting trek through the invigorating spice and tea plantations. Later in the evening, drive to Kumarakom. On arrival, check in at the beach resort and refresh. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort in Kumarakom.

Day 5: Kumarakom - Houseboat
After breakfast at the resort, the morning is free for you to enjoy a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage. Later in the day, proceed for a tour of the bird sanctuary nearby. In the evening, transfer to the boarding point, check into the private houseboat to begin your backwater tour. Enjoy the merry and languid countryside along the Kerala backwaters as you drift on the Vembanad Lake. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the houseboat.

Day 6: Houseboat - Marari
After a leisurely breakfast aboard the houseboat, enjoy the stunning backwaters of Kerala. On arrival at the finishing point, disembark and drive to Mararikulam. On arrival in the popular beach resort town, check in at the beach resort and refresh. The day is free for you to enjoy indulging in beach sports and water activities. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay in Mararikulam, South India.

Day 7: Marari
After breakfast, take advantage of the many recreational facilities available at the resort. Alternatively, spend another fun day on the beach with your family and friends. Return to the resort for meals and overnight stay in Mararikulam, Kerala.

Day 8: Marari - Kochi
After breakfast at the resort, drive to Kochi. On arrival in the harbor city, check in at the hotel and proceed for a city sightseeing tour. Visit Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and Bolgatty Palace. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Kochi, Kerala.

Day 9: Kochi - Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board the flight back to Mumbai. On arrival in the dream city, catch the connecting flight back home or to your onward destination. Alternatively, you can also extend your tour by one day and check in at the hotel. Go on a sightseeing tour of Mumbai, shop at the trendy malls and jive through the night and the happening night spots in the city that seldom sleeps. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 10: Departure from Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board the flight back home or to your onward destination.
