Day 1: Arrival in Kochi
Arrive at the international airport in Kochi to begin your 9 day Best of Kerala Tour with A India Tour holiday packages and itineraries. Our representative will escort you to the hotel. On arrival, check into your room and refresh. The day is free for you to enjoy at leisure. The evening is reserved for an enthralling Kathakali dance performance. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.

Day 2: Kochi
Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kochi after breakfast at the hotel. Visit Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and Bolgatty Palace. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Kochi, Kerala.

Day 3: Kochi - Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel, Drive to Munnar. On arrival, check into your room, refresh and relax. Later in the day, proceed for a sightseeing tour of the hill station in Kerala. Visit Pothamedu, Devikulam and Pallivasal. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Munnar, Kerala.

Day 4: Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day excursion to Rajamala and Eravikulam National Parks, Kundala Lake and Mattupetty. Return to the hotel. The day is free for you to spend on recreational activities available at the resort. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 5: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast at the resort in the morning, go on a trek to the waterfalls, dams, and plantations. Later in the afternoon, check out from the resort and drive to Periyar, Kerala. On arrival in Periyar, famous for elephants and tigers, check in at the forest lodge and proceed for a boat safari on the Periyar Lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Periyar, Kerala.

Day 6: Periyar - Kumarakom
After breakfast at the lodge, go on a tour of the spice plantations. Later in the day, drive to Kumarakom set on the Vembanad Lake. On arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed for a sunset cruise on the backwaters of Kumarakom. Dinner and overnight journey to Alappuzha aboard the houseboat.

Day 7: Kumarakom - Houseboat
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the boarding point to begin your backwater tour on a traditional Kerala houseboat or rice barge. Enjoy the merry and languid countryside along the Kerala backwaters as you drift on the Vembanad Lake. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the houseboat.

Day 8: Houseboat - Kovalam
After breakfast aboard the houseboat, disembark and visit the bird sanctuary. Later, drive to Kovalam and visit Napier Museum, Wood Palace at Trivandrum. On arrival, check in at the beach resort and refresh. Enjoy the world famous beaches of Kovalam. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay in Kovalam, South India.

Day 9: Kovalam - Trivandrum
After breakfast at the resort, drive to the international airport at Trivandrum for a flight back home or to your onward destination.
