Day 1: Arrival in Paro
Arrive at the only airport in Bhutan at Paro. Your landing in Bhutan is nothing short of a dreamlike sequence from a romance classic laced with thrills and excitement that gets you wishing that the trip would never end. The Kingdom of Bhutan unfolds beneath your airplane as the clouds part to let you peek at the rice farms terraced on to the gorgeous valley. Besides the terraced farms, some of Bhutan's oldest temples, monasteries, and National Museum (at the ancient watchtower) can be found here.

On landing, our representative will escort you to the hotel. On arrival, check in and relax for the day. In the evening, go out on a walk to the local colorful shops and enjoy the air crisp with flavors of the street food. Indulge your palate and return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Bhutan.

Day 2: Paro
After breakfast at the hotel, explore the riches that Paro has to offer on a sightseeing tour. Visit the 17th century Rinpung Dzong (built in 1646) that is admired as much for its precise symmetry as it is for the ruler who built it. Shabdrung Ngwang Namgyal was the first spiritual ruler of Bhutan. Later in the day, visit Ta Dzong on the hillside, and go on an excursion to the serene Taktsang monastery or the Tiger's Nest that is set on a cliff overlooking the valley. Also visit the ruins of Drugyel Dzong or the victorious fortress - a monastery that kept the Tibetan invaders at bay for its strategic location (18 km from Paro) in 17th century. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Paro.
