Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive at the international airport in Delhi to begin your 16-day South India Wildlife Tour, arranged by A India Tour. Our associate will accompany you to the hotel. Check into your room. The day is free for you to indulge in recreational activities available at the hotel or explore the nearby areas on your own. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast, proceed on a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Lotus Temple, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Connaught Place, Humayun's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Qutub Minar. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Bangalore
Transfer to the airport after breakfast at the hotel. Board the flight to Bangalore. On arrival, check into your hotel room, refresh and proceed on an excursion to Mysore. Visit Brindaban Gardens and Mysore Palace. Return to the hotel in Bangalore for overnight stay.

Day 4: Bangalore - Nagarhole
Drive to Nagarhole National Park (80 km from Bangalore) after breakfast at the hotel. On arrival, after 8½ hours later, check in at the wildlife resort and proceed on an evening jeep safari to the jungle. Return to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 5: Nagarhole National Park
Go on an early morning jungle safari followed by a Coracle ride on the Kabini River. The evening is reserved for another round of jeep / elephant safari. Return to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 6: Nagarhole National Park - BR Hills
Trek to BR Hills after breakfast at the resort. After a refreshing walk through the picturesque landscape, check into the amp for overnight stay.

Day 7: BR Hills
BR Hills offer the idyllic location for game-viewing and bird-watching. Return to the camp for overnight stay.

Day 8: BR Hills - Bandipur National Park
Drive to Bandipur after breakfast at the camp. On arrival, 4 hours later, check into the wildlife resort, refresh, and proceed for an exciting afternoon safari to the park. Return to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 9: Bandipur National Park
Another day of jeep and elephant safaris, morning and evening, awaits you. After a full day of game-viewing and bird-watching, return to the resort for overnight stay in Bandipur.

Day 10: Bandipur National Park - Ooty
Drive to Ooty (80 km from Bandipur) after breakfast at the resort. On arrival, 2 hours later, check in at the hill resort and spend the day at leisure. Go on walks and enjoy the view of the Nilgiri hills capped with white clouds. Visit the local tourist attractions, go boating on the lake. Return to the resort for overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 11: Ooty - Munnar - Eravikulam National Park
Drive to Munnar, a hill station famous for its spice and tea plantations, waterfalls and dams. Visit the major tourist attractions in Munnar. Later in the day, drive to Eravikulam National Park. On arrival, check in at the wildlife resort for overnight stay.

Day 12: Eravikulam National Park - Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
After and early morning jungle safari to the Eravikulam National Park, return to the resort for breakfast. Later, drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival, 3 hours later, check in at the wildlife resort for overnight stay.

Day 13: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
Go on a morning and evening boat safari on the Periyar Lake to explore the fauna and flora of the region. Periyar is popular for elephant herd, tiger and bird spotting. Return to the resort for overnight stay in Periyar.

Day 14: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - Kumarakom
Drive to Kumarakom (5 hours from Periyar) after breakfast at the resort. On arrival, check in at the beach resort and refresh. The day is free for you to explore the beauty of Kumarakom, packed in its backwaters and scenic locales, on your own. Return to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 15: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
Today you will go on a tour of the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. A backwater cruise down the Vembanad Lake makes for the perfect end to day's outings. Return to the resort for overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 16: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - Kochi - Departure
Drive to Kochi (3 hours from Kumarakom) after breakfast at the resort. On arrival in Kochi (Cochin) if time permits, go on a brief tour of the harbor city. A harbor cruise later, transfer to the airport for a flight back home or to your onward destination.
