Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Begin your 14-day North India Wildlife Safari, arranged by A India Tour, from Delhi. Arrive at the international airport in Delhi where our representative greets you and escorts you to the hotel. After a traditional Indian welcome at the reception, check in and relax for the day. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi


Highlight: Sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi
Today you will explore the monuments and marvels of the New and Old Delhi on a full day sightseeing tour. Visit Lotus Temple, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Connaught Place, Humayun's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Qutub Minar. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur


Highlight: Forts and Palaces of Rajasthan
Today you will drive to Jaipur in the morning. After arriving in the city splashed in pink and guarded by centuries old city walls, check in at the hotel and relax. Post lunch visit Amber Fort, City Palace, Royal Observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple, and Ram Niwas Gardens. In the evening, walk down to the ancient markets and shop for souvenirs and curios. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur - Ranthambore


Highlight: Stay at a Jungle Lodge
Today you will drive to Sawai Madhopur where Maharajas stayed during their hunting expeditions to the royal gaming reserve now known as the Ranthambore National Park. On arrival, check in at the forest lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Ranthambore


Highlight: Jeep / Elephant Safari
Today you will go on a exhilarating jungle safari to Ranthambore National Park on a jeep. Enjoy game viewing and bird watching for the whole day. Later in the day, you can also go on a trek or jeep safari to the Ranthambore Fort. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Ranthambore - Bharatpur


Highlight: Bird Watching
Today you will drive to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary famous for its numerous species of native and migratory birds especially the Siberian Crane. On arrival, check in at the lodge and proceed for a tour of the bird sanctuary on foot or on cycle rickshaw. Return to the lodge for an overnight stay in Bharatpur.

Day 7: Bharatpur - Agra


Highlight: Sightseeing in Fatehpur Sikri and Agra
Today you will drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri famous for the Buland Darwaza (the largest gateway in the world) and other stunning monuments built in red sandstone. On arrival in Agra, check into the hotel and refresh. After refreshments, proceed on a sightseeing tour. Visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Akbar's Tomb, and Itimad-ud-Daulah. The evening is free for shopping and recreational activities. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Agra.

Day 8: Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho


Highlight: Light and Sound Show in Khajuraho
Transfer to the railway station to board the train to Jhansi. From here, drive to Khajuraho via the historic city of Orchha famous for its well preserved temples and palaces. On arrival in Khajuraho, check in at the hotel and attend the evening light and sound show. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Khajuraho.

Day 9: Khajuraho


Highlight: Temple Tour of Khajuraho
Today you will go on a heritage walk accompanied by an expert guide. Visit the Western, Eastern and Southern temple complexes. Enjoy the detailed sculptures and tableaux capturing the mores and philosophies predominant during the 1000-year-old Chandela dynasty. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Khajuraho.

Day 10: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh


Highlight: Jungle Safari
Today you will drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival, check in at the lodge and go on a jungle safari. Enjoy game viewing at the tiger reserve. Return to the forest lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.

Day 11: Bandhavgarh


Highlight: Trek to Bandhavgarh Fort
Today you will go on another jungle safari to the Bandhavgarh National Park followed by a trek / jeep ride to Bandhavgarh Fort. Return to the resort for an overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.

Day 12: Bandhavgarh - Kanha Highlight: Jungle Safari
Today you will drive to Kanha National Park. On arrival, check in at the lodge, refresh, and proceed for a jungle safari and enjoy a half day game-viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Kanha.

Day 13: Kanha - Nagpur


Highlight:Visit to the Suna Winery
Today you will drive to Nagpur after another round of jungle safari. On arrival in one of the holy cities in India, check in at the hotel and proceed on a tour of Suna Winery and Orange orchards. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Nagpur.

Day 14: Nagpur - Delhi
To end your North India Wildlife Safari, transfer to the airport for a flight to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to the international airport to board the connecting flight back home or to your onward destination.
