History:Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary also known, as 'The Keoladeo Ghana National Park' was previously the hunting reserve of the Maharaja of Bharatpur. Bharatpur was the premier Jat state in Rajasthan. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary was declared a National Park in 1982 and credit for this goes to the ornithologist Dr. Salim Ali. In the park there are around 365 different species of birds to be seen. Government Museum: This museum is situated inside one of the palaces in the Lohagarh fort. It boasts of having a rich collection of magnificent paintings, weapons and sculptures.
Jawahar Burj and Fateh Burj: Jawahar Burj and Fateh Burj are the two victory towers built by Maharaja Suraj Mal to proudly show his victory over the Mughals and British.

Air: Daily flights are available for Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai and Varanasi from the nearest airport at Agra at a distance of 54 kms.
Rail:Nearest railhead is Bharatpur at a distance of 2 km; it's well connected with the Delhi-Mumbai trunk route.
Road: Well-connected bus services to and from Delhi to Bharatpur and other major northern and western cities are available.
