Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Begin your 11-day Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour by arriving at the international/ domestic airport in Delhi. On arrival, our representative will escort you to the hotel. Enjoy a traditional Indian welcome at the reception, check in and relax for the day. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi
Proceed on a sightseeing tour of the New and Old Delhi after an early morning breakfast at the hotel. Visit Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb and the Bahai Temple. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at leisure. Enjoy the various recreational facilities available at the hotel or check out the nearby markets for souvenirs and curios. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur
Proceed on a 6-hour drive to Jaipur after an early morning breakfast at the hotel. On arrival in Jaipur, check in at the hotel and proceed for a tour of Jaipur city. Visit the City Palace and Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla Planetarium and Birla Temple. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur
Proceed on a half day sightseeing tour of the Pink City. Visit the magnificent Amber Fort that was once the powerbase of the rulers of Jaipur. After a long walk along the ramparts or an exhilarating elephant ride, you arrive within the fort city that has palaces, temples, courts, pavilions, terraces, traditional ventilation system done in Rajasthani architectural style and enamored with jewels from world over. After a detailed tour of Amber Fort, also visit Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. The rest of the day is free for shopping. Jaipur is renowned world over for its jewelry, stones, wax work and textiles. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur - Jodhpur
Proceed on a long drive to your next destination: Jodhpur. On arrival in the desrt city, check in at the hotel and relax. Post lunch take a tour of Umaid Bhawan Palace and musuem. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 6: Jodhpur
Proceed for a jeep tour of the Bishnoi dominated villages around Jodhpur after breakfast at the hotel. Later go on a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada memorial. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 7: Jodhpur - Bikaner
Proceed on a long drive to Bikaner after breakfast at the hotel. On arrival in the camel country of Rajasthan and one of the commercial centers in the desert state, check in at the hotel, refresh and spend the day on leisure activities. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Bikaner.
Day 8: Bikaner
Move on a full day sightseeing tour of Bikaner after breakfast at the hotel. Visit Junagarh Fort, Lal Garh Palace, Ganga Singh Museum, mansions, Asia's largest camel breeding farm, and Karni Mata Temple. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Bikaner.
Day 9: Bikaner - Chittorgarh
Drive to Chittorgarh after an early morning breakfast at the hotel. On arrival in this desert town that reverbrates with the legends of bravery and romance, check in at the hotel and relax for the day. Take a stroll to the nearby village to get a taste of country life of the resourceful desert people. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Chittorgarh.
Day 10: Chittorgarh
Procced on a full day sightseeing tour of Chittorgarh after breakfast at the hotel. Visit the 7th century Chittorgarh Fort, Jaimal and Kalla memorials, Vijay Stambh and Kirti Stambh (Towers of Victory and Fame resp.), Rana Kumbha's Palace, Padmini's Palace, Kalika Mata Temple, and Government Museum. Retrun to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Chittorgarh.
Day 11: Chittorgarh - Delhi
On the last day of your Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour, drive back to Delhi after breakfast at the hotel. On arrival in Delhi, transfer to the international / domestic airport to board the flight back home or to your onward destination.
