Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai
Arrive at the Mumbai Airport. Our representative will escort you to the hotel. After a traditional Indian welcome at the reception, check in and relax for the day. Enjoy the various hotel facilities and treat yourself to an assortment of Indian recipes for dinner. Day 2: Mumbai
Move for a half day sightseeing tour of Mumbai after breakfast at the hotel. Visit Juhu Beach, Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Victoria Terminus, art galleries in the Kala Ghoda area, Hanging Garden, Mumbai University, and Supreme Court buildings; half day excursion to Elephanta Caves later in the day. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 3: Mumbai - Trivandrum - Kovalam
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Trivandrum, Kerala's capital. On arrival, drive to Kovalam (16 km) and check in at the Ayurvedic Resort. Here, you can feast your eyes on the beautiful beach without the intrusion of happy tourists. Day 4: Kovalam

Day 6: Kovalam - Alleppey - Backwaters of Kerala
Transfer to the pier in the morning to board a private houseboat. The houseboat takes you through the famed canals and lakes that constitute the backwaters of Alapuzzha (Alleppey), Kerala. Enjoy the laidback atmosphere as you drift down the waterways. Relish the scenic beauty - coconut groves, rice patties, and small coastal villages. Food and overnight stay aboard the houseboat.
Day 7: Cochin
Enjoy the early morning breakfast, in the breakfast country of India, amidst the soft sounds of the parting backwaters, chirping of birds, and coasts coming alive to its natural rhythms. The houseboat returns to the designated boarding point from where you drive to Cochin after an authentic Kerala lunch. On arrival in Cochin, check in at the hotel and relax for the day. Day 8: Cochin
Move for a full day city sightseeing tour of Cochin after breakfast at the hotel. Visit Fort Cochin, St Francis Church, oldest Synagogue, Jew Town, Buildings from the Dutch, Portuguese and English era, Chinese fishing nets, Kochi Harbor, the splendid beaches of Vypeen islands. Return to the hotel and relax. Evening is reserved for a Kathakali performance. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 9: Cochin - Periyar
Leave for Periyar after breakfast at the hotel. En route, enjoy the scenic countryside - misty hills covered in spice plantations, waterfalls and green meadows. Trek through the earmarked trails or enjoy picnics at the spectacular waterfalls. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax on your overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 10: Periyar
After breakfast at the hotel, you can explore Periyar National Park on a nature-walk. However, a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake is considered to be the best way to explore the flora and fauna of Periyar, hidden within its depths. For instance, you can catch the quirky habits of elephants as they descend on the Periyar Lake for a ritualistic bath. For bird lovers, there are the woodland birds, darters and coromants to keep them company. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 11: Periyar - Kumarakom
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kumarakom. A small town on the eastern shore of Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom is famous for its pristine beaches and gorgeous backwaters. On arrival in Kumarakom, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Enjoy boat rides and houseboat cruises on the lakes and canals of Kumarakom or relish the scenery from the comforts of your room or the spa at the resort. Day 12: Kumarakom - Cochin - Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Cochin Airport to board the flight to Mumbai. From Mumbai airport, board the connecting flight back home or to your onward destination.
