Day 1: Arrival in Cochin
Arrive at the Cochin Airport. Our representative will escort you to the hotel. After a traditional Indian welcome at the reception, check in and relax for the day. Enjoy the various hotel facilities and treat yourself to an assortment of Kerala recipes for dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin, Kerala.

Day 2: Cochin - Houseboat
Move for a half day city sightseeing tour of Cochin after breakfast at the hotel. Visit Fort Cochin, St Francis Church, Synagogue, Jew Town, Buildings from the Dutch, Portuguese and English era, Chinese fishing nets, Kochi Harbor, the splendid beaches of Vypeen islands. Return to the hotel and relax. Leave for the designated boarding point in the evening to commence your backwater cruise. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the brooks and stillness of a sleeping coast on your overnight stay onboard the houseboat.

Day 3: Houseboat
Ketuvalloms or traditional Kerala houseboats have inspired romance and love of laidback ambience for centuries. Enjoy the cruise through the intricate canal and backwater system of Kerala, under the shade of the swaying palm trees, past the authentic fishing villages, and Chinese fishing nets dotting the waterways. All this and more can be enjoyed on the backwater cruise in a houseboat fully equipped with all the modern amenities you would wish to have on your vacation. Overnight stay onboard the houseboat.

Day 4: Houseboat - Periyar
Enjoy the early morning breakfast, in the breakfast country of India, amidst the soft sounds of the parting backwaters, chirping of birds, and coasts coming alive to its natural rhythms. The houseboat returns to the designated boarding point from where you drive to Periyar. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. You can choose to explore Periyar National Park on a nature-walk. However, a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake is considered to be the best way to explore the flora and fauna (especially elephants) of Periyar, hidden within its depths. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Periyar.

Day 5: Periyar - Madurai
After an early breakfast at the hotel, leave for Madurai. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Post lunch, move for a city sightseeing tour of Madurai. Visit the spectacular Meenakshi Temple and the many stupefying temples in the complex. Later in the evening, visit the colorful bustling markets of Madurai and shop for souvenirs and curios. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel in Madurai.

Day 6: Madurai
The day is free for you to explore the city attractions according to your interests. You can also enjoy the many hotel facilities on offer. Though optional, it is highly recommended that you venture on a full day cultural tour of Tanjore. Famous for its artistic past, handicrafts, and Tanjore silk, Tanjore makes for an ideal place for a relaxing day with shopping, eating out and sightseeing thrown in for entertainment. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 7: Madurai - Chennai
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board a flight to Chennai. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Go on a half day sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Marina Beach, churches, film studios, forts and zoo. You can also opt for brief excursions to the city of thousand temples, Kanchipuram and the artistic finesse of the sculptures and temple architecture of the only surviving shore temple in Mahabalipuram. Leave for Chennai airport in the evening to board your flight back home or to onward destination.
